PKL 9: Patna Pirates fixtures and schedule
The team will begin their campaign against Puneri Paltan on October 8.
The much-awaited Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 9 is set to begin on October 7 and will go on till mid-December. The first-half fixtures of the much-anticipated PKL league have been announced, with Dabang Delhi to take on U Mumba in the first match. While Patna Pirates will play their first game against Puneri Paltan. Two more matches will be played on the same day, with the Bengaluru Bulls taking on the Telugu Titans and the Jaipur Pink Panthers to compete with UP Yoddha.

Fifth title on the cards?
Looking at the fixtures, Patna Pirates have a good amount of time in between their matches to prepare for the next clash. After an excellent last season, the Pirates will be looking to win their fourth title this time. They lost to Dabang Delhi in the final of the previous PKL edition.

With players like Monu Goyat, Guman Singh, and Neeraj Kumar, Patna Pirates have a well-balanced squad that could maintain their dominance in the PKL league. No one thought that they could do so well without their lead raider, Pardeep Narwal, but the franchise played to their best and reached the finals. This time, they will look to go one step further to lift the trophy for the fourth time.
