The tournament is heading towards its business end.

Mashal Sports, organizers of the Pro Kabaddi League, has released the final part of the league stage schedule for the ongoing season 8, keeping within the overall schedule for the league. After successfully conducting matches day-on-day basis and completion of more than 100+ matches, PKL 8 is well on its way to a successful completion of season 8.

This time the organizers have changed the format for the first four days of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). They have introduced a triple-header aka Triple Panga.

With triple-headers coming up, the battle for qualification to the playoffs is only going to intensify. The competitiveness of the league has hit new highs, showcased by the close difference between 11th place & the playoffs positions on the points table.

The entire Pro Kabaddi League season 8 is taking place at the Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Centre. The spectators are not allowed inside the stadium during the match.

Ahead of the start of the league, Anupam Goswami, CEO, Mashal Sports and League Commissioner, PKL had said, “Through season 8 we look forward to setting an example for indoor sport in India. The season will be conducted at a single venue without spectators. But we are ensuring that fans will continue to witness a world-class league.”

He added, “This time we are making use of top-notch technology and innovations to keep fans engaged with the matches and the league. We have not reduced the number of matches but have a slightly reduced duration of the season. Because of the changed format, Kabaddi lovers in India and all over the world are going to get Pro Kabaddi League Season 8 in an even more intense, action-packed & highly competitive manner with all these 12 captains battling it out for triumph and glory.”
