Pro Kabaddi League: Who tops our Power Rankings after Phase 1?

The raiders have emerged as the dominant force after scoring crucial points for their teams.
Season 8 of the Pro Kabaddi League will witness Khel Now's Power Rankings. This is where the three best players from each match are picked by our team and given points based on their ranks. The first rank gets five points, while the second and third ranked players get three and one points respectively. These points are accumulated and added to the tally of the individual player.
At the end of each phase, the rankings are released which see exciting movement between the best performers. The rankings help to gauge the performance and the consistency of the players. This system will be applied to the kabaddi players in the ongoing season of the Pro Kabaddi League.
Here is the list of top 10 players who have collected the most points according to the Power Rankings criteria:

10. Manjeet (Tamil Thalaivas) - 8
Manjeet is 10th on the rankings and gets eight points. The raider has managed 24 points in three fixtures for Tamil Thaliavas in the Pro Kabaddi League Season 8.
He scored 12 points against Telugu Titans in the season opener. Manjeet followed up that performance by impressing against Bengaluru Bulls and U Mumba.
9. Siddharth Desai (Telugu Titans) - 9
Siddharth Desai is one of the most lethal raiders in the Pro Kabaddi League. The Telugu Titans player gets nine points from the Power Rankings points system. He has managed 35 total points in three fixtures, which is the eighth-highest total in the Pro Kabaddi League as of yet. He has also recorded two Super 10s, including a 14 point display against Puneri Paltan.
8. Sachin Tanwar (Patna Pirates) - 9
Raider Sachin of Patna Pirates is next in the rankings. The young sensation managed 27 points in three matches. He gets nine points from the Power Rankings points system for his impressive performances, especially against Puneri Paltan, where he scored a Super 10.
7. Pardeep Narwal (UP Yoddha) - 11
Pardeep Narwal is regarded as the most prolific raider to grace the Pro Kabaddi League. He is representing UP Yoddhas this season and continues to impress.
He gets 11 points for his consistent performances. Narwal has collected 34 points in four games and will hope to score more in the coming games.
6. Maninder Singh (Bengal Warriors) - 11
Maninder Singh is up there amongst the best raiders in the Pro Kabaddi League. He also gets 11 points for his performances in Phase 1 of Khel Now's Power Rankings.
The Bengal Warriors skipper will hope to help the outfit retain the title this year. He has 48 points in four fixtures, which includes 17 and 16-point performances against the Bulls and Dabang Delhi respectively.
5. V Ajith Kumar (U-Mumba) - 12
V Ajith Kumar is one the strongest raiders on the U Mumba roster and he manages 12 points according to the criteria. He has 39 points in four games and is slowly picking up momentum. Ajith Kumar managed 15 points against the Thalaivas in his best display of the season yet.
4. Pawan Sehrawat (Bengaluru Bulls) - 13
Pawan Kumar Sehrawat of Bengaluru Bulls is next on the rankings with 13 points. As the skipper of the side, the raider plays a crucial role in scoring points for the team.
In the four games of the season, the "High-Flyer" has managed 58 points, which is the second-highest tally for a player in the league. He will continue to reap points based on the Power Rankings' criteria as the season progresses.
3. Rakesh Narwal (Gujarat Giants) - 16
Rakesh Narwal of Gujarat Giants is third with 16 points. Managing 41 points in four matches, he is the fifth-highest point-getter in the Pro Kabaddi League at the moment. He has two Super 10s in three games and also scored nine points in the odd fixture against Dabang Delhi.
2. Arjun Deshwal (Jaipur Pink Panthers) - 20
Arjun Deshwal is in hot form in the ongoing season of the Pro Kabaddi League and received five points in each of the four games through the Power Rankings points system.
The Jaipur Pink Panthers' raider has 53 points in four matches, helping his side to two wins in four games. In terms of Super 10s, Deshwal has managed four, the joint-highest in the league with Naveen Kumar of Dabang Delhi.
1. Naveen Kumar (Dabang Delhi) - 20
Naveen Kumar recently broke the record for scoring the fastest 500 raid points in merely 47 matches in the league's history. The Dabang Delhi raider has 20 points, putting him in joint-top position in the Power Rankings.
Kumar has scored 68 points in four matches, which is the highest points tally for an individual. He has managed Super 10s in each of the four matches.
