Raiders dominate the top positions in the rankings system.

Pro Kabaddi League Season 8 is heading towards its business end. A secure bio-bubble at the Sheraton Grand, Whitefield in Bengaluru is hosting the premier kabaddi league competition. Since the start of the season, Khel Now has been analyzing the individual performances of each player under the Power Rankings system.

The rankings work towards recognizing players for their consistent performances. This season, the star raiders of the league are hogging the limelight. These individuals have been delivering strong performances since the PKL began and continue to play key roles for their teams.

The previous phases of the Power Rankings have seen strong competition for the top places from the raiders. The fourth phase also saw more of the same. To that end, here is what the Khel Now Power Rankings for Pro Kabaddi League look like after the end of Phase 4:

Note: Phase four of the Power Rankings ended on 2 February 2022.

10. Ajith Kumar (U Mumba) - 25 points

U Mumba are a defensively strong team, but their raiding department is also strong. Ajith Kumar leads most of their raids and brings a lot of points. He is in 10th place in the Power Rankings, owing to his good recent performances.

9. Abhishek Singh (U Mumba) - 26 points

Ajith Kumar’s teammate Abhishek Singh is the leading raider in the U Mumba squad. In his last three performances, the player has scored eight points twice and got an 11-point haul against Bengaluru Bulls in a 45-34 win. He stands ninth with 26 points to his name.

8. Vijay Malik (Dabang Delhi) - 29 points

WATCH: Vijay Malik scored 11 points against U Mumba

Dabang Delhi are at the top of the PKL points table, thanks to the recent performances from Vijay Malik. Due to the injury to Naveen Kumar, the responsibility of scoring points fell on other players.

Kumar scored 16 points against Jaipur Pink Panthers and 11 against U Mumba in Naveen’s absence. He enters the top 10 with 29 points after Pro Kabaddi League Phase 4.

7. Surender Gill (UP Yoddha) - 30 points

UP Yoddha have two very powerful raiders and one of them is Surender Gill. The player has been in good form in the past few days.

In particular, he scored two Super 10s against Telugu Titans (12) and Patna Pirates (10) in his recent performances. He gets 30 points from the Power Ranking points criteria and holds the seventh place.

6. Vikash Kandola (Haryana Steelers) - 32 points

Haryana Steelers are one of the strongest defensive teams in the division. However, their attacking department has a player like Vikash Kandola, who can single-handedly secure multiple points for his team. The raider has 32 points, which keep him in sixth place in the Power Rankings system.

5. Manjeet (Tamil Thalaivas) - 35 points

Tamil Thalaivas have a player like Manjeet in their team, who is proving to be very reliable this season. The tall and lanky raider is deceptively quick and has good range.

He performs consistently, which is a huge asset. He holds fifth place in the Power Rankings, having performed well in the last few matches, scoring nine points in a win against Telugu Titans.

4. Naveen Kumar (Dabang Delhi) - 38 points

Heading into the top four, we have the best raiders in the PKL. Naveen Kumar started the season on a sensational note, scoring a lot of points for Dabang Delhi.

However, he has struggled with fitness in the last few weeks and thus loses pace with the top three players in the Power Ranking system. He currently holds 38 points.

3. Maninder Singh (Bengal Warriors) - 54 points

WATCH: Maninder Singh starred for Bengal Warriors against Jaipur Pink Panthers

Bengal Warriors' skipper Maninder Singh holds third place with 54 points in the Pro Kabaddi League Season 8 Power Rankings system. The raider is a powerhouse and unplayable at times.

While the past few results have been disappointing for the Warriors, Singh has delivered a lot of points individually. He scored 13 against the Jaipur Pink Panthers in a crucial 41-22 win.

2. Arjun Deshwal (Jaipur Pink Panthers) - 55 points

Arjun Deshwal led the Power Rankings for the first few phases of Pro Kabaddi League Season 8, but loses the top spot and falls to second with 55 points. The speedy raider plays for the Jaipur Pink Panthers and has struggled of late to replicate his earlier performances. Scoring 17 points against Patna Pirates was a good display by Deshwal in a week of disappointments.

1. Pawan Kumar Sehrawat (Bengaluru Bulls) - 65 points

“Hi-flier” Pawan Kumar Sehrawat leads the Khel Now Pro Kabaddi League Power Rankings with 65 points. The skipper of Bengaluru Bulls is a one-man army, who can change the complexion of any game by himself.

While the team has struggled to find good results, Pawan has delivered on an individual level. He currently has 232 raid points, the highest in the division.
