Many teams need a reliable player who could assist in raiding.

In the eigth season of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), the performance of “showman” Rahul Chaudhari was very poor. Rahul is the second-highest scorer in the history of PKL. However, in the 8th season, he could only get 13 points in seven matches. In many matches, he was not even picked in the final line-up. This is testimony to the fact that his performance was indeed disappointing.

Rahul Chaudhari’s performance had not just been disappointing in season 8 but in the previous seasons as well. Earlier, he had a poor performance for Telugu Titans in Season 6 and Tamil Thalaivas in Season 7 which was carried until this season. Rahul Chaudhari may not have been at his best but one cannot overlook his brilliant performances in PKL and it’s no doubt that such a player can make a tremendous comeback in any season.

As far as Puneri Paltan is concerned, they are expected to release Rahul Chaudhari before the upcoming season's auction. Thus, there are a few teams that will surely go for Rahul in the auction. These teams need an assisting raider, and Rahul Chaudhari can prove very useful.

3. UP Yoddha

UP Yoddha had a big star like Pardeep Narwal in PKL Season 8 but his performance did not go as expected. In the auction, Pardeep Narwal was bought by UP Yoddha for ₹1.65 crore becoming the most expensive player in PKL history. However, his performance didn’t match the value at all. Overall, he could only get 188 points in 24 matches. In such a situation, the team of UP Yoddha could release him before the auction of the upcoming PKL season.

After the departure of Pardeep Narwal, only Surender Gill will be left for UP Yoddha as the main raider. Apart from him, there will be Shrikant Jadhav. In such a situation, the team of UP Yoddha can include Rahul Chaudhari as an assisting raider. Surender Gill had proved his worth in the PKL season 8 and in such a situation, if he gets the support of a big player like Rahul Chaudhari, then he can take charge of the raiding department for his team. UP has many such players who understand Rahul Chaudhari's game very well, thus, there will be less pressure on Rahul, ultimately leading to some good performances from him.

2.  Bengaluru Bulls

The performance of Bengaluru Bulls was very good in the last PKL season. The team made its way to the semi-finals. However, the team definitely lacked an assisting raider. Captain Pawan Sehrawat led the team from the front. He scored 320 points in 24 matches and led the team to the playoffs under his captaincy. However, apart from Sehrawat, there was no other raider who could consistently bring points for the team. Raiders like Chandran Ranjit and Bharat did not have much impact and could be released by the team. In such a situation, Bengaluru Bulls could purchase Rahul Chaudhari during the auction.

1. Bengal Warriors

In PKL, if any team is in the need of a great assisting raider, then it is the team of Bengal Warriors. They have a tremendous raider like Maninder Singh . But apart from him, there is no other assisting raider who can win matches on his own. The team used to rely heavily on Iranian all-rounder Mohammad Nabibakhsh but he was disappointed a lot last season. At the same time, Sukesh Hegde also could not support his captain.

In such a situation, the team Bengal Warriors can bet big on Rahul Chaudhari. With Maninder Singh, there will be no pressure on Rahul Chaudhari to score a point in every raid. In such a situation, he can play his game freely. So taking Rahul Chaudhari can be beneficial for the team.
