These stars stole the limelight in the last edition of the tournament.

The Pro Kabaddi League produces a hub of superbly talented young players, not only from India, but from other countries as well. The eighth season also brought some of the fabulous overseas players to the country. Not only did they lead from the front, but also showed that the game and talent is no more confined to the grassroots level.

The last season of the Pro Kabaddi League also saw these overseas players creating many records. These players showed their true potential and exemplary ways of dealing with tough situations.

On that note, let’s have a look at the top five foreign players in Pro Kabaddi League Season 8 whose performances amazed the viewers.

Gujarat Giants' all-rounder Hadi Oshtorak had a decent season in the Pro Kabaddi League. The player, hailing from Iran, showed his potential really well in the last season.

Although Hadi couldn’t be the leading player or the highest scorer for the team, he provided immense support to the other players in the Gujarat outfit.

Hadi Oshtorak scored 28 points in the last season. A total of 10 points came through raiding, while the rest came through his remarkable defence. He also had two super tackles to his name. The all-rounder kept rotating among the players and provided valuable support to the crew.

4. Abozar Mighani (Bengal Warriors)

Abozar Mighani punched above his weight in the Pro Kabaddi League last season. The defender from Iran acted as the driving force of the Bengal Warriors' defence. His impressive defensive strategies easily stifled the attacking unit of every team.

He scored a total of 43 tackle points, including one 'High-Five' from 22 matches. The player may not have been one of the high scoring players for his team, but had a significant role to play by ensuring the easy flow of points in the defensive unit.

3. Faizal Atrachali (U Mumba)

Faizal Atrachali is no doubt one of the most renowned stars in the Pro Kabaddi League when it comes to overseas players. The Iranian player’s reputation in the league has always preceded him. The defender was the backbone of U Mumba’s defence in the last season as well.

U Mumba's captain scored a total of 51 points in 22 matches, which included two 'High-fives' as well. However, Atrachali's record in the last season did no justice to him, as he has the potential to do a lot more for his team. U Mumba fans will hope to see a better version of the player in the upcoming season.

2. Mohammad Nabibakhsh (Bengal Warriors)

Mohammad Nabibakhsh was another asset for Bengal Warriors last season. The majestic all-rounder from Iran was the show-stopper in many matches for the Warriors. Although Nabibakhsh couldn’t help his team lift the title, he played up to his full potential. The player was all over the mat whenever he played and always looked to keep up his fighting spirit whenever the opposing team seemed to dominate.

Mohammad Nabibakhsh’s game was not only confined to raiding and defending, but he was one of the most animated players in the unit. The Iranian all-rounder played 20 matches for the team and scored 108 points, which had 19 tackle points and 89 raid points. Mohammad Nabibakhsh was undoubtedly one of the perfect blends of defence and attack during the season.

1. Mohammadreza Chiyaneh (Patna Pirates)

Mohammadreza was the centre of attraction in the last season. The Iranian debutant impressed everyone with his fabulous gameplay. His performances tended to overshadow any other player’s performance very easily. Mohmmadreza featured in many records in his very first season in the Pro Kabaddi League.

The Patna Pirates' defender scored 94 points in 24 matches, out of which 89 were tackle points. His tally of records included the most tackle points, along with the highest number of 'High-Fives' during the season. Almost every team would eye to have Mohammadreza on their side in the coming season.
