PKL 11: Puneri Paltan retention list before auction

The defending champions have retained all their main players for PKL 11.
Puneri Paltan won their first Pro Kabaddi League trophy by crushing every team in the league while hardly breaking a sweat during the season. It is anticipated that for season 11 (PKL 11), it will be difficult to hold onto the team, as several of the starting seven players may be in great demand in the auction.
The nucleus of Puneri Paltan, led by coach BC Ramesh, has been retained as they prepare for the title defense, which is scheduled to take place in a few months. Investing in youth has always been the best approach to achieve success at any level, especially in high-energy sports like kabaddi where players must get faster as the game goes on.
The men in orange recognized this fact and have been acting on it for years, having hired Anup Kumar as the coach in season seven. Throughout seasons seven and eight, they brought in celebrities like Sanket Sawant, Pankaj Mohite, Aslam Inamdar, and Mohit Goyat. They finished runners-up and victors in season nine and ten, respectively, so it paid off.
Puneri Paltan have retained these players under the Young Players list. The defensive duo of Gaurav Khatri and Abinesh Nadarajan are part of the Retained Elite Players list. It was a bit surprising to see the defending champions let go of their key left corner, Mohammadreza Chiyaneh. Puneri, might go hard for the Iranian yet again in the Auction.
