Services stuns Delhi on day 3 of 69th Senior National Kabaddi Championship

Himachal Pradesh and Kerala played a nail-bitter match which ended in a tie.
The 69th Senior National Kabaddi Championship 2022 – MENS’ third day was filled with some fast pace action and captivating displays on court.
The first match of the day between Himachal Pradesh and Kerala ended in a draw as both teams scored 28 points each. Adarsh T. of Kerala was the top scorer of the tie with 8 points.
Madhya Pradesh comfortably beat Telangana in the second match of the day, as they scored 55 points whereas Telangana only managed to score 38 points in the Pool G match. Bhawani Rajput was the stand-out performer of the tie as he scored a match high 14 points for Madhya Pradesh.
The Pool B match between Services Sports Control Board and Delhi, saw Services cruise to victory as they scored 35 points to Delhi’s 18. VIVO Pro Kabaddi star Naveen Kumar was the most influential player of the tie as he scored 10 points for Services enroute to their victory.
The Pool D game between Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu, ended in Maharashtra’s favour as they scored 39 points while Tamil Nadu could only manage 30 points. VIVO Pro Kabaddi player Aslam Inamdar showed all the quality that has made him a fan favourite in the VIVO Pro Kabaddi League as he ended the tie as the top scorer with 12 points and guided Maharashtra to victory.
Haryana took on Karnataka in a Pool F match that saw Haryana emerge victorious as they amassed 41 points while restricting Karnataka to 26 points. VIVO Pro Kabaddi League star Mohit Goyat of Haryana was the top scorer of the tie with 6 points.

Uttar Pradesh put in another stellar display against Chhattisgarh in their Pool G match, which saw them score 56 points while negating Chhattisgarh’s attack and restricting them to only 37 points. Uttar Pradesh’s Rahul Chaudhari showed why he is one of the most recognizable names from the VIVO Pro Kabaddi League as he scored a match high 18 points.
Jharkhand beat Jammu and Kashmir in their Pool E match in a match of fine margins. Jharkhand scored 32 points as Jammu and Kashmir could only manage to score 25 points. Sagar Kumar was the top scorer of the tie with 18 points for Jharkhand.
The Pool H match between Chandigarh and Uttarakhand was a high scoring affair. Chandigarh amassed a massive 55 points whereas Uttarakhand pushed them till the last minute but was in vain as they could only score 48 points. Chandigarh’s Vijay was the top scorer of the tie with 20 points.
With this the league stage of 69th Senior Kabaddi National Championship 2022 – MENS finished and the second session of the day will see teams in actions for the pre-quarters stage of the championship.
