Week 3 of Pro Kabaddi League 11 (PKL 11) brings another thrilling southern derby, as the Telugu Titans gear up to face the Tamil Thalaivas once again. In their season opener, the Thalaivas clinched a convincing 44-29 victory over the Pawan Sehrawat-led Titans.

So far in Pro Kabaddi League 11, the Tamil Thalaivas have experienced a mix of highs and lows. They kicked off the season with two strong wins, but since then, they’ve managed only one win in their last four matches, along with two losses and a hard-fought draw. Heading into this derby, they’re looking to bounce back from a narrow defeat against the Bengaluru Bulls.

On the other hand, the Telugu Titans seem to be finding their rhythm in PKL 11. With three wins out of their six games so far, they enter this match on a high, riding the momentum of two consecutive victories.

The head-to-head numbers tell a story in itself. It was the Telugu Titans who had the upper hand in the initial years. In fact, Tamil Thalaivas’ first-ever Pro Kabaddi match was against Telugu Titans. Not only did the Titans win that particular game but also won the other two games in season five.
