Indian skipper Ritu Negi headlines women's kabaddi camp probable list
Ritu Negi, the captain of the India women’s Kabaddi team leads a list of 35 people who will be heading into a national camp as they start preparing for the international tours scheduled to happen in the second half of the year. Star Raiders Pooja and Jyoti have also been picked in the squad. Every player would be competing for fame and honor for a place in the team which has a rich history and tradition.
There are 16 Raiders on the team, three Left Covers and four of each of the following positions: Left Corner, Right Cover, Right Corner, and All-Rounders. An experienced committee consisting of Manpreet Singh, Ashok Shinde, and Randhir Singh Sehrawat has hand-picked the players. The committee selected individuals who could perform well under duress after watching the Nationals.
Himachal Pradesh won the senior women’s national championship and the selectors have picked the defense trio of Pushpa, Sakshi, and Bhavna, along with their all-rounder Jyoti. With few international tours and a World Cup set to happen in the next six to eight months, the players would want to stay at the top of their fitness and produce the best performance for the national team.
The national camp promises to be intense as up-and-coming athletes fight for supremacy and the chance to be part of the team that is known for winning the championship titles. It truly captures the essence of kabaddi at its best. These young athletes inspire fans and other competitors alike as they demonstrate their mettle and exemplify the values of sportsmanship and friendship.

Raiders – Pooja Narwal, Pooja Hathwal, Manisha Bara, Anshu Devi, Nidhi Sharma, Amrapali, Rajarani, Harjeet Surasree Pakira, Amulya Ashok Patil, Simran Kamboj, Saloni Gajmal, Parachi, Indu Kumari, Anu, Sheela Rama Laxmi
