The featherweight bout will be the main event of the night.

Ultimate Fighting Championship continues with its streak on Fight Island in Abu Dhabi with a long-awaited featherweight clash at UFC Fight Night - Ortega vs The Korean Zombie.

The main event will feature one of the biggest featherweight matchups as former title challengers, Brian Ortega and Chan Sung Jung, face each other inside the Octagon to determine the next title contender in the division.

The co-main event will feature a women's flyweight bout between #1 ranked Katlyn Chookagian and former strawweight champion Jéssica Andrade. Other fights that are stacked on the card include a lightweight fight between Mateusz Gamrot and Guram Kutateladze, a women's flyweight bout between Gillian Robertson and Poliana Botelho and a welterweight matchup between Cláudio Silva and James Krause.

The Fight Night will mark the return of Brian Ortega following his challenge against former featherweight champion Max Holloway at UFC 231 almost two years ago. In addition to taking time to recover from various injuries, Ortega has used this hiatus to completely reshape his team, with Rener Gracie remaining to prepare him for his return in the Octagon this weekend.

Ortega has been one of the best fighters at featherweight and is now ranked two in the division. Speaking to the media ahead of his fight, he said, "We have our thing where we want to hit each other in the face. So honestly, I just see a slugfest and some technical work. But yeah – we kind of don’t like each other. From what I’ve heard, and I’ve posted on my social media and Dana White’s said it himself – he said the winner of this fight gets the shot to fight for the belt and that’s what I will be aiming for when I step inside the Octagon."

A perennial favourite ranked four in the featherweight category 'The Korean Zombie' Chan Sung Jung was the main event of last year’s UFC Busan, knocking out Frankie Edgar in just over three minutes for his second consecutive first-round stoppage. Now standing at 3-1 with a trio of first-round finishes since returning from his mandatory military service obligations, the 33-year-old veteran is not only known for his striking prowess but also has two of the most memorable submissions in UFC history.

Speaking to the media ahead of the fight, Jung said, "I never try to finish fights, it just happens that way. Ortega is a tough opponent. He’s been hit over 300 times in his last fight against Holloway and he was still standing, so it’s going to be tough to finish him."

How will Ortega look after being away for nearly two years and rebuilding his team? Can Jung add a third straight first-round stoppage win to his resume? These are just three of the myriad of questions that will be answered on Sunday when these fighters will hit the Octagon and the strikes start flying.
