Khel Now set to be Digital Media Partner for Blue Arena 4

India's first and only social sports platform will provide exclusive digital coverage of the flagship fan-engagement event for Blues fans.

The event will be held on Sunday, the 1st of April,2018 in Bengaluru.

India’s Blue Army, as it is fondly called, has organized the “Blue Arena” event for the last three years running which received a great response from all around the country. It is a one-day annual get together of Chelsea fans. Due to popular demand, Bengaluru was chosen as the host city for the fourth edition.

Through the years, Blue Arena has earned a reputation of being a carnival of sorts that Chelsea fans in India dream of. The activities include Futsal tournaments, FIFA gaming wars, True Blue Quiz and the free mega screening of Chelsea Vs Tottenham Hotspur match of Premier League.

The activities lined up for the event

The event will start early in the morning with Futsal tournaments (5-a-side) at Play Arena. The Inter-Chelsea India tournament features teams from various city chapters of the Chelsea India family. The Blues may unite as one for the event but when the teams take the field, the rivalry between cities take centre stage. Champions Pune from last year’s edition will look to defend their crown while the local team will try to win it in their own backyard.

Followed by this, a Supporters Club Tournament will also take place that will see teams from other rival fan clubs of Bengaluru square off to find the city’s champion team. Also, fans can indulge in activities like Target Shooting and take the Crossbar Challenge.

Next, we will see the Blues challenge each other at a personal level in FIFA Gaming. Blue Arena provides a special platform for gamers to showcase their mad FIFA 18 skills on PlayStation 4. The winner will take home a cash prize and trophy, but most valuably the bragging rights of being the FIFA Champion of Blue Arena 2018.

The FIFA gaming wars are always a treat to watch: Be it on the gaming screen or through the gamers’ reactions! 

Think you know it all? Then, the True Blue Quiz is for you. Preliminary rounds are conducted on Chelsea India social media platforms with the shortlisted participants with most correct answers vying for the grand prize at the Blue Arena finals. What's more, the prize on offer is truly grand- a Chelsea jersey signed by the entire first-team squad- straight from Stamford Bridge!

The entire day’s fun and frolic culminates in the mega screening of Chelsea Vs Tottenham Hotspur. If you want to see scores of Blues under one roof chanting out loud and creating an atmosphere as good as Stamford Bridge then this is the place for you to be. The three previous editions of Blue Arena witnessed bumper crowds coming from various parts of the country because when it’s Chelsea time, Blues always have time!

The members of Chelsea India Supporters’ Club may sometimes have nothing whatsoever in common with each other, apart from their love for this fantastic football club. They are family, in a sense, bonded by the Blue blood that runs through their veins. The rise and rise of Chelsea India over the past 12 years has been possibke purely because of these passionate fans.

The success of Blue Arena is another feather in the cap of Chelsea India Supporters’ Club. With a presence in more than 30 cities, it is the biggest fan organization in the country. They have also seen their banner being placed permanently inside Stamford Bridge (and recently, moved to a central location!) between the fellow Supporters Clubs’ banners from other countries. Chelsea India is managed by a team of highly passionate fans who devote their personal time so that the fans can have a good experience.
