I think everything will be fine- Niko Kovac as Ivan Perisic loan deal is confirmed
The Bavarian will have to pay £20m to make the deal permanent at the end of this season.
Bayern Munich have signed Inter Milan's Ivan Perisic on loan for £4.6m and now the Bundesliga club's boss has responded to some of the criticism pushed towards the winger. As reported by Sky, Perisic was in Munich on Monday to undergo his medical ahead of the move.
It is also reported that another £20m at the end of the season will be paid to make the deal permanent. The deal comes as a shocking panic buy after their prime target Leroy Sane got injured while playing for Manchester City and now is potentially out for the whole season.
Head coach Niko Kovac said on Monday, "It's true, Perisic was in Munich today, I can confirm it. There are certainly still small questions to be clarified, but everything should be resolved quickly. I think everything will be fine. Stefan Effenberg arrived at Bayern at age 30 and brought the Champions League with him. We need to move away from the age issue, we need to look at what players can give us in the future."

"Perisic instead of Sané? You can't talk about a B, C or X solution and I think we will all have to ask ourselves if what's happening here recently is right. I think this is not the point, every player deserves the respect he is due," the boss said.

While signing the deal, Perisic said, "I am very happy to be back in Germany. Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in Europe. We want to attack not only in the Bundesliga and in the DFB Pokal, but also in the Champions League"
Bayern Munich lost the German DFL Super Cup 2-0 to Borussia Dortmund and will kick off this new Bundesliga season on Friday 16th August 2019 against Hertha BSC.
