The former Tamil Nadu coach has been brought in to change tides for the side languishing at the bottom of league table…

In a quick re-arrangement, Chennai City FC has got V Soundararajan on board as the head coach for its senior team. The club had, on Wednesday, parted ways with Robin Charles Raja and wasted no time in giving direction to the players, who are in midst of a faltering I-league season.

The news was made public by CCFC’s General Secretary Vikram Murali who sent a letter to confirm the news. The letter stated that Soundararajan will be the head coach of the senior team till the end of this I-league season.

Soundararajan is one of the first three AFC Pro-License holder from India. The former Tamil Nadu coach got this distinction in 2005 alongside Derrick Pereira and former Rangdajied United coach Herring Shangpliang.
