Alexis isnt loved at United as much as he is with Chile- Head Coach Reinaldo Rueda
The Manchester United forward has scored two goals in two games for La Rojas.
Chile head coach Reinaldo Rueda reveals that La Roja captain Alexis Sanchez feels more love and connection donning his national team jersey than at Manchester United.
Alexis Sanchez ended a dreadful 2018-19 season with the Red Devils as he found the net only twice in all competitions over the entire campaign, with United finishing at a disappointing sixth place in the league table.
However, Sanchez has picked up his form for the national team as he netted two goals in as many matches in the Copa America inspiring the La Roja to storm through to the quarterfinals. Chile on the night picked up their second win on the trot at the competition defeating 10-men Ecuador 2-1, with the former Arsenal man scoring the winner in the 51st minute.
The 30-year old has wuthered the storm of disappointment and struggle at Old Trafford where he could only manage five goals in 45 appearances across all competitions since joining the Red half of Manchester in January 2018.
He has grown out of favour and does not fit in the plans of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Hence the former Barcelona man is eyeing a move out of the Premier League this summer. Inter Milan are considered to be the likely option for the winger as Brazilian side Palmeiras also came up with a shock loan deal.

Reuda, however, feels that Sanchez's struggles are mostly based on United's unbalanced squad. He also suggested that the 30-year old does not get enough love and affection there which he does at the international scene.
"He has the motivation, affection and some relationships that he has in the national team and maybe he didn't have them in Manchester," Rueda said after Chile's victory over Ecuador.
[KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]"He arrived at a difficult, inopportune moment, perhaps in the most unbalanced United in recent years." The La Roja have guaranteed a quarterfinal spot from Group C after defeating Ecuador last night. However, they will like to continue their perfect record and avoid a defeat against Uruguay in their next match to secure the top spot in the group.
Oscar Tabarez's men, on the other hand, started their Copa America campaign with a statement 4-0 win over Equador. But the La Celeste followed it up with an underwhelming 2-2 draw against Japan. Hence Luis Suarez and co. needs a draw to secure their qualification to the knockouts.
