PSG set to put in ambitious bid for Eriksen

Paris Saint-Germain are set to bid £100m for Tottenham Hotspur wizard Christian Eriksen, according to the Sunday Express. The Spurs midfielder is an extremely important cog in their attacking system, with the French outfit looking to bolster their own midfield with days to go in the window.

Eriksen’s contract extension talks with Spurs are currently in limbo to the Danish midfielder wanting a similar salary as that of star striker Harry Kane.

                                         Barcelona refuse to sell Rakitic

Barcelona have turned down any chances of selling their Croatian midfielder Ivan Rakitic to PSG, after it was rumored that the French side were lining up a €80m bid for the star.

But, Ernesto Valverde confirmed in an interview on Saturday that they weren’t here “to do business” with PSG and insisted that Rakitic is not for sale.

Dortmund finally seem to have gotten their man

Borussia Dortmund finally seem to be putting an end to their hunt for a striker, with Barcelona’s Paco Alcacer set to make the move to the German giants.

Bild have reported that BVB are willing to pay an initial €2.2m loan fee and will sign him for around €20m-€25m next season. Dortmund will also pay Alcacer’s €4m-yearly salary.

The French star has been reassured the board’s faith in him and will aim to get back to his best and compete with Alexis Sanchez for a spot in the starting lineup.
