The Premier League is back after a scintillating round of FA Cup games.

Arsenal blew the top four race wide open when they defeated Chelsea in resounding fashion thanks to goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Laurent Koscielny. Manchester United beat Brighton due to goals from Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford while Tottenham overpowered Fulham at the Craven Cottage. Manchester City fended off a meek Huddersfield challenge scoring three unanswered goals with Danilo, Sterling, and Sane finding the net. Liverpool survived a scare from Crystal Palace at Anfield to maintain their lead at top of the table with Mohamed Salah grabbing a brace.

Gameweek 23 Review

A very disappointing week for the team. Only three players managed to perform well. Callum Wilson got 9 points for his brilliant performance against West Ham while captain Marcus Rashford stole the show with 16 points. Andrew Robertson got 5 points due to his assist in Liverpool’s entertaining victory against Crystal Palace. Ryan Fraser got three points while Eden Hazard and Jesse Lingard got two points each. The rest of the team including the three remaining defenders and Alisson in goal only got one point each.

The team finished well below average.

Gameweek 24 Transfers

Despite, a disappointing Gameweek 23 no transfers are made. Most of the players in the team have favourable fixtures this week. However, Arsenal teammates Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alex Iwobi can be transferred out. The striker can be replaced by Sergio Aguero. The Argentine is slowly coming back in form after his injury and is going to be a pivotal figure in City’s title-defense.

The Arsenal winger meanwhile is serving as a rotation piece with no fixed role in the system. He can be replaced by James McArthur or Solly March.
