FC Bardez look to cut gap at the top against Churchill

Both teams are in need of a win...

Churchill Brothers will play host to FC Bardez in the Goa Professional League match which will be held at the Ambelim Football Ground on Sunday.

Churchill Brothers drew their previous match against Corps Of Signals as it ended in a goalless draw. Churchill are currently on 8th spot with just 11 points of the 13th matches, they will be looking to get something out of the match

FC Bardez on the other hand are also coming into this match with a draw as they played Sporting Clube De Goa and both teams failed to get past each other. FC Bardez are currently on the 5th spot having played 12 matches with 23 points and will be looking to cut the gap between them and the leaders.

FC Bardez head coach Armando Colaco will have to leave out Rowilosn Rodrigues as he is suspended after totting up yellow cards in different matches. So, Anil Chawan might get into the starting XI. Lenstan Afonso will also be out because of an Injury.

FC Bardez Predicted Sarting XI :-  Mirshad K, Anil Chawan,  Mathew Gonsalves, Richard Costa, Peter Carvalho, Alesh Sawant,  Cavin Soares , Girish Naik, Latesh Mandrekar, Joel Sunday , Jessel Carneiro

FC Bardez winger Alesh Sawant said, ”Yes we dropped points in the last match. We could have won it, but now we have to look forward. We have been working hard and I’m sure we will get the result.

FC Bardez Gaffer Armando Colaco also said, “ I’m taking it game by game. We drew the previous game, but I was happy with the boys’ performance. Every game is a new game for me and a new challenge.
