The biggest winners are Ukraine who have climbed six spots to 29th position.
Their 4-0 friendly victory over Scotland and the 3-0 UEFA Nations League win over Iceland propelled the Red Devils to top spot, alongside World Cup winners France. Meanwhile, Didier Deschamps and his men were held to a draw by Germany, before overcoming Netherlands 2-1 in Nations League fixtures.
Both teams are tied on 1729 ranking points, ahead of third-placed Brazil (1663 points). The South Americans were beaten by Belgium in their quarte-final fixture in Russia. The only other change in the top 10 is Denmark. The Danes slipped down to 10th place (below Spain) after losing to Slovakia last month, with a team of amateurs and futsal players.
Germany have climbed to 12th, following their humiliating World Cup exit. Although, Die Mannschaft performed better in their recent friendlies and UEFA fixtures. The best movers in this list are Ukraine. They have climbed six spots to 29th, due to their recent wins over the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Bosnia and Herzegovina also climbed up five spots to 34. Ghana and Slovenia had the worst changes. Both the nations went down six spots, to 51 and 61 respectively.
In news closer to home, India, who lost the SAFF Cup final to the Maldives last weekend, dropped one place to 97.
