With DPR Korea’s win against Tajikistan on Monday night, the Blue Tigers' chances of qualifying for the final are officially over.

Speaking to the media after the game Tajikistan coach Usmon Toshev was really happy to qualify for the final of the tournament as he shared his feelings, “The tournament was for the preparation for World Cup Qualifiers and we had a really good practice and today’s match was a high-voltage game and we would like to thank DPR Korea for providing a stiff competition.”
Toshev was asked about how did the team prepare against a team like DPR Korea who remain relatively unknown opposition to which he replied by saying, “We watch their videos and see how they play and we found out they play more long balls and through balls. We think we played really well, although, the scoreline suggests otherwise.”
The 53-year-old also suggested that Tajikistan don’t fear any team and are ready to face any side in the final.
