Mumbai City FC were utterly demolished on the score-board and in their spirit with a display of a life-time by the outstanding FC Goa team! The Indian players and their foreign counter-parts have amalgamated well to make them into the most destructive team of the season! It looks very likely if not certain that Goa are coming back to the Mumbai Football Arena for the Grand FINALE of the Indian Super League!  

IT IS ALL OVER!

90+2' It's long shot time! Mumbai try their hand at the Matka with numerous long shots being tried upon!

90'  3 minutes added as Arnold looks to try half heartedly to go past the formidable Mandarrao!

88' Pranjal surges forward and places a lovely ball as Mirabaje tries to slot one in but Naveen Kumar is on fire tonight!

Mumbai go into the tunnel with a Goal down! They have maintained their Momentum and are looking to make the chances count! If the game plan is translated well on the pitch, Mumbai surely might get a few goals in, but that doesnt mean that Goa may not score 3 more at least.

18' Mumbai City see their First Yellow! Bastos cautioned for yelling at the Referee Hamad Ali!

17' The whole Mumbai team is playing like a family and defending with guile and they break into attack with Machado sending it to Arnold cross field and the winger laying it across the face which beats both Sougou and the Keeper Naveen.

15' Machado seems to be wanting to hold on to the ball and make chances through the channels! 

14' Lenny seems to the architect of the wondrous and fluid football Goa are playing but the moves don't seem to convert as Mumbai is hioolding their own!

10' Raynier is pressing high and that seems to be the motto of the team as Sougou wins the ball off Fall and Mumbai is in ultra attacking mood!

8'  Fall is not able to convert an easy chance as Amrinder foils the move!

7' Naveen pulls off a save with Arnold hitting a stinger which is guided out of the field! Arnold commits a foul on the way back felling Jacki who seems to be the target today!

4' Mumbai's counter attack breaks down as Arnold is fouled and Machado steps up to take the free kick that goes wide!

3' Arnold Issoko commits another foul, are Mumbai looking to break the players down?

1' FC Goa begin the proceedings as they kick off the match with the crowds roaring and the whistle flaring!

7:28 PM The toss has been won by Mumbai and they will be playing from Right to Left. Can Mumbai City Football Club pull out a miracle and win the fixture that has seen them concede 7 goals this season! Or will we see the domination of the home side being forced to eat humble pie?

The West Coast Brigade lay out a massive banner saying, "Make Us Believe!" Can the Islanders make them believe?

7:25 PM The subsititutes are on the bench as the teams line up in the tunnel to take the field! The stadium erupts in Mumbai Mumbai and Forca Goa!!

7:05 PM It has been a solid season for both these teams. Goa finished second in the league phase and make their fourth appearance in the playoffs in five seasons. Mumbai came third and are back here after missing out on the top four last campaign.

Also, a good time to tell you that as far as the head-to-head record between the twi teams is concerned, there are some stats that Islanders fans won't want to look at. The Gaurs did the double over tonight's hosts in the league and have put seven unanswered goals past them in the process.
