Kerala Blasters bolster attack, bring in Seityasen Singh
The winger will play for his third team in the cash-rich league.
Manipur-born winger Seityasen Singh has been roped in by Kerala Blasters for the upcoming season of Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL). The 27-year-old joins a host of new faces at the club as they look for a fruitful 2019-20 campaign under new head coach Eelco Schattorie.
Seityasen began his career at Royal Wahingdoh in 2011 and went on to help the team gain promotion to the Hero I-League in 2013-14. He signed for NorthEast United FC in 2015 and made his Hero ISL debut against Kerala. He went on to represent the Highlanders for two seasons, making 15 appearances.
He moved to Delhi Dynamos ahead of the 2017-18 campaign and was impressive for the Lions in his 11 outings. He was due to return to NorthEast for Hero ISL 2018-19 but an ACL injury kept him out for the entire season.

Schattorie, who was in charge of the Highlanders last season, has taken over the reins at Kerala this term and has decided to show faith in the fit-again Seityasen.
The India international has the ability to drive forward with the ball with pace and can be a potent goal threat, as shown by his four goals and three assists in 26 Hero ISL outings.

Schattorie was happy with the latest recruit and stated, "I am happy to have Seityasen Singh on board, who can play on both right and left-wing. Though predominantly right-footed, he also has the ability to use the left, even while shooting. Moreover, Seityasen has impressive speed and 1v1 skills which can bring some creativity on the wings this year."
