UCL is a goal, but even Juventus have been waiting for eight years- Thomas Tuchel after winning Ligue 1
This is the first time the German tactician has won a league title.
Thomas Tuchel, on Sunday, won the Ligue 1 title in his maiden season after their win over AS Monaco. After winning back-to-back trophies, Tuchel insisted that Paris Saint Germain should be patient regarding the UEFA Champions League trophy.
The club had already won the league even before the start of the game after Lille drew a goalless game against Toulouse.
Kylian Mbappe scored a hat-trick against his former side won his third straight Ligue 1 title. Tuchel, on the other hand, celebrated the title in his maiden season at the helm, while referencing Juve's wait for European glory, which dates back to 1996.
"We had a very serious first half, we are not in our best period, but we had a good game," Tuchel said via Canal+.

"Played with a good rhythm until the hour of the game. After the third goal, we lost the ball a little more. But we won, it was important. It was always complicated."

Coming after a long lay-off injury, Neymar featured in the game along with fellow striker Edinson Cavani.
The Uruguayan is heavily linked with a move away from PSG and when asked on the same, he insisted that he is happy and will remain at the club.
"I am under contract here for another year," the 32-year-old forward. "I am good here, calm, and very happy with the team, as well as the supporters. That said, you never know in football."
PSG still have many players ruled out of respective injuries and their absence delayed the Ligue 1 triumph.
