Zlatan Ibrahimovic claims he could have been US President
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is that sort of player who cannot resist making the headlines. The latest outlandish comment made by him suggests that he could have been the President of the United States of America, if he had graced American soil 10 years earlier.
When asked about how he had affected the football scenario in the US he said, “I don’t know if I changed it, I just keep doing my job. They’re lucky I didn’t come 10 years ago because I would be the President today.”
Perhaps, he is unaware of one eligibility criteria, which is that any Presidential hopeful has to have been born on US soil or on American territory.
The 36-year-old has become quite popular in North America since his arrival, with lots of appearances in commercials and television shows.
