Sign Belarusian striker Dzmitry Kowb for the upcoming Hero I-League. Kowb joins the Punjab-based club from Estonian side Narva Trans and is set to spearhead the Minerva attack next season.
Northern giants Minerva Punjab FC completed the signing of Minsk based Belarusian striker Dzmitry Kowb who comes with a rich experience of playing in countries like Belarus, Lithuania and Estonia.
The 30-year-old 6ft Striker last played for JK Narva Trans which plays in the Meistriliiga the highest division of the Estonian Football Association and scored a whopping 10 goals in 14 appearances for the Narva based team. Prior to his stint at Estonia, he also featured for Belarus based FC Gorodeya which plays in the Belarusian Premier League and scored 5 goals in 19 appearances in the 2015-16 season. He also had a stint at various Belarus Premier League clubs like FC Vitebsk, FC Dnepr Mogilev, FC Minsk and A Lyga (Lithuania top division) team FK Trakai.

In 2014, while playing in Lithuanian league, he drew international media attention with his goal celebration – he celebrated scoring a last-minute equalizer by applauding for himself on the spectator stand.
Coming from an extremely successful season in Estonia scoring 10 goals in 14 games, and on his first assignment in Asian soil in India, the Belarus born striker would surely look to impress and turn heads with his goal-scoring ability and experience.
