We bring you a wrap of all the action from Round 7.

Current champions Chanmari FC and neighbours Chanmari West FC battled to a 1-1 draw in round 7 of the Mizoram Premier League season 6 today at Lammual.

An even first half saw chances come in abundance with Muanzova, Thasiama and Vanlalbiaa all missing good opportunities for Chanmari FC. And it was the same story at the other end as Lianzama, Thlamuana and Mawitea all failed to find the net.

The champions did find the net when a clearance from Chanmari West FC's goalkeeper Hriata fell into Thasiama who found the net on the 33rd minute. They threated first in the second half as Muanzova missed a one-on-one chance with the goalkeeper minutes after the restart.

Chanmari FC introduced experienced Jacob Lalrawngbawl and the move proved to be a masterstroke as he netted their equaliser after an erroneous defending from Chanmari FC.

The goalscorers from both teams almost doubled their tally late on but they were both thwarted by some brilliant reflexes from the goalkeepers. Lalromawia of Chanmari FC was named Man of the match.

Elsewhere, last season's finalists Bethlehem Vengthlang FC beat I-League champions Aizawl FC in a 2-0 victory in another twist of the ever exciting Mizoram Premier League.

Aizawl FC, who has enjoyed somewhat of a mixed campaign this season, began brightly and twice forced saves from Bethlehem Vengthlang FC's goalkeeper. Their opponents also responded with efforts from PC Lalthazuala and Vanlalthanga.

Mizo legend Mama missed a great opportunity to give Aizawl FC the lead and soon after it was Bethlehem Vengthlang FC who strike on the 36th minute. A freekick from Vanlalthanga was finished off by MS Dawngzela to take an unlikely lead.

Buoyed by their goal Bethlehem Vengthlang FC carried their momentum and doubled their lead right before halftime. A fine delivery from Rammawia was nestled into the back of the net by Ramengmawia.

Aizawl FC tried to shake things up in the second half by introducing Albert Zohmingmawia and Lalmuankima but they paid the price for their profligacy in front of goal - certainly not for the first time this season - as they missed chance after chance. Mama missed two good opportunities while an effort from Lalbiakthanga was saved by the goalkeeper.

To make matters worse for Aizawl FC, defender Lalrozama was sent off late on in the match and a comeback looked more and more unlikely as the minutes went on. BVT FC almost netted a third at the other end but Joel could not control his shot on target. Lalrammawia oif Bethlehem Vengthlang  FC was named Man of the Match
