The Hoops board have allowed Rodgers to kick-off talks with Leicester. Also, multiple media reports have stated that Kolo Toure and Chris Davies – who are a part of Rodgers' staff in Glasgow – will follow him to England, if a deal is agreed.
After a decent start to the 2018-19 Premier League campaign, The Foxes are currently experiencing a bad run of form. The club is currently ranked 12th in the league standings with 32 points, registering nine wins, five draws, and 13 losses. In total, the club has scored 32 goals and conceded 38.
Irishman Rodgers has experience in the English top-tier, having previously managed Swansea City and Liverpool. With Liverpool, he notably led the side to a second place in the 2013-14 season, a campaign marred with the infamous Steven Gerrard slip.
