The Egyptian talisman has had a mixed bag of a season so far after shining last campaign for the Reds.
Eden Hazard's inspired Chelsea ended Liverpool's six-game winning streak in an exciting 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Hazard opened the scoring on the night with just 25 minutes on the clock. Liverpool missed several chances, before Daniel Sturridge restored parity with a 25-yard screamer in the 89th minute.
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah had a poor game as the Egyptian missed lots of chances which led to manager Jurgen Klopp subbing him off in the 66th minute of the game. However, the Reds' boss wasn't too disappointed wiith Salah's poor game as the German came out in support of his #10 in the post-match press conference.
"It was not Mo's best game of his career, 100 per cent. In a game like this constantly in situations, he comes in, that makes you a world-class player. You fail, you miss, whatever, that happens.
He wants to be decisive, he wants to score in these situations. The first ball he missed it was not the right position. The next one he passed. Why? He could've finished again.
It's like riding a bike. It's not like you wake up in the morning and you cannot finish any more or cannot ride a bike any more. That's how it is, you only need to work for these moments when it's clicking. That's the period he is in, no problem with that, so all good," said Klopp.

The tactician also poured heaps of praise on super-sub Sturridge for the incredible goalscoring form he is in. "He's in the best shape since I've known him," Klopp added. "It's really cool. I'm really happy for him.
When he came in the dressing room it was pretty loud. The boys were really happy for him because he's in a good moment."
Liverpool dropped points for the first time this season after six consecutive wins, but Klopp was not too concerned about it.
[KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]"Six, seven times we had big chances. We gave them one proper chance, they used it and we didn't use ours. That's how life is. As long as we play like we did tonight we will win football games," he said Klopp about the result.
Liverpool now sit second in the table with 19 points, while Chelsea are just a place below them with 17.
