Maurizio Sarri unsure of Juve's Pogba move
The Frenchman has been linked with a move back to the Turin-based club.
Paul Pogba’s future has been hovering in the air with both the player claiming that he needs a challenge away from Old Trafford and the player’s agent, Mino Raiola expressing that his client wanted a move. Juventus, Pogba’s club before he joined Manchester United for a then world record transfer fee of 100 million, have been heavily interested in re-signing him back.
The Old Lady has already bought Matthijs de Ligt and complemented their midfield options with the signings of Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey. Adding Pogba to that midfield holster would be a sensational move for the Bianconeri.
Reports suggest that Manchester United are demanding a whopping 198 million pounds for the services of Pogba around whom Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still hopes to build a team. The heavy price complicates the deal for Juve but their new manager Maurizio Sarri admitted that he was a fan of the player.
Having spent a season with Chelsea in England where he saw Pogba up close, Sarri was full of praise for the player but he was also quick to admit that he was in the dark about a potential move for him.
"I like very much the player but I don't know the situation. I am not the technical director," Sarri told reporters in Singapore ahead of Juventus' International Champions Cup match against Tottenham on Sunday.
Real Madrid are also on the hunt for Pogba as Florentino Perez has admired the player and will try to swoop in and land the Frenchman to the Bernabeu. After a tumultuous and disappointing season, Real Madrid have bolstered their squad with quality signings in Jovic, Mendy, Rodrygo, Militao and of course, Eden Hazard.

"There is nothing closed yet. Stay in Manchester? I live my life day by day, we will see what happens. The end of this story is not written. Today we are here, tomorrow we do not know."
