Roberto Martinez speaks about Lukaku's condition in Inter Milan
The Belgian manager let out his opinions on Romelu Lukaku and Manchester United to rustle up feathers at Old Trafford.
Roberto Martinez says that he has never seen Lukaku happier ever since he moved to Inter Milan after a dismissal run with the Red Devils. The Belgian striker left the Premier League after very forgettable two years.
Two weeks on Italy and he is already wreaking havoc left and right. Under Solskjaer, the forward just made 15 starts and he later admitted that he didn't feel 'important' enough under his aegis.
The 26-year old was spoken in high regards by the Belgium National Team manager Roberto Martinez and heaped praises on his improvement since his transfer window exit from Old Trafford.
"This is the first time I have seen him free and happy," Martinez admitted.
"Going back to many camps I have not seen Rom so focused, so happy, so refreshed by the new challenge."
Behind these statements were thinly veiled digs which the Belgian took to point out at the current condition of Manchester United under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Romelu Lukaku isn't the only new addition from Manchester United to San Siro this season. Alexis Sanchez joins him in the dressing room as well for a season-long loan.
Pleasantly happy with the reunion of his teammate, Lukaku could only speak about his delight in seeing the Chilean.
"A great addition for the squad," the Belgian told Sky Sports.
"I think you always want to play with the best players but what he is is a great man as well."
[KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]"For the dressing room that we have, we have a dressing room full of great men and full of players who are willing to work for the team and he's a great addition to it."
"Hopefully he can add that little spark to the team that we need, that the manager thinks that we need, and hopefully we can move on forward from there."
