Transfer Talk: Alexis Sanchez exit halted over wage demands
All the latest transfer news related to Neymar, Manchester United, Barcelona, Arsenal, Eriksen and others.
The English transfer window ended a while back and there's still a lot of business to be done throughout the other European leagues, including the Premier League. We take a look at the ones that are still said to be in talks and have the chances of getting penned down before the European transfer window closes.
Barcelona eyeing Dembele-Neymar swap deal
Barcelona have already offloaded Philippe Coutinho and now want Dembele to follow the Brazilian to the way out of Camp Nou, ESPN reports.
Dembele would likely make way for Neymar by going to the opposite way as the Brazilian, according to several media outlets.
Rafinha to be loaned out
Rafinha would also be moving out of the Blaugrana team following a contract extension, Marca reports.
The 26-year-old hasn't been able to impress the manager of the club and will have to find some new club for regular game time.
Eriksen still adamant of not signing an extension
Mauricio Pochhetino has failed to lure Christian Eriksen in signing a contract extension as the midfielder believes a move out of the club by September 2 is still possible.
The Spurs manager confirmed the reluctance of the player for signing the contract extension in the press conference before the Newcastle game.
Tottenham still hasn't given up on Dybala
Paulo Dybala could still play for the Premier League club this season as the Spurs are reportedly keen to make a move for the forward in January.
Football London has reported the said rumour in its podcast after Tottenham failed to inspire Dybala to move on from Juventus.
Fernando Llorente not to play for United
Manchester United have reportedly cooled down their interest in signing Fernando Llorente after the player was released by Spurs, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed.
The club from Manchester looked to add more options at the front by trying to persuade Dybala and Mandzukic for a move to Old Trafford.
Mustafi agent confirms the player wants a way out
Shkodran Mustafi's agent has confirmed to Sky Germany that they would like to make the player move out of Emirates even after two years of contract left for the defender.
The centre-back has been criticised for his carefree defending and Unai Emery prefers Sokratis and Luiz ahead of him.
Alexis Sanchez's move away from United not happening
Inter Milan signing Sanchez this window would be a miracle after the clubs have failed to agree on the wage demands of the Chilean.
But the move would also weaken United's attacking lineup, Gabriele Marcotti reports.
He said, "I think United were left short-handed when Lukaku left and wasn't replaced," Marcotti told the Transfer Talk podcast."

"Martial and Rashford have both started [United's first matches of the season]. They're both starters. If one of them gets injured you have kind of got to fill two roles."
