The 29 year-old will be sponsored by Star Cement during her trip to Glasgow for the trials.
Bala Devi Ngangom, currently the most experienced Indian Women’s Football Team Player has been called up for a contract subject to trial at Rangers Football Club. The Men’s Team managed by Steven Gerrard are currently in the Scottish Premier League and play in the Europa League and the Women’s Football team finished 4th in the Scottish Building Society League 2019 Season (Level 1 – highest level). Rangers Women’s Football Team is a fully professional Women’s team. [KH_ADWORDS type="3" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS] Bala will travel to Glasgow on 19th November for a week-long trial at the club including training and matches and if successful, will sign a professional contract with the team for the 2020 season thus being the first Indian woman being given the opportunity to play fully professionally outside India.
