An unbelievable stat about Cristiano Ronaldo in 2018 you surely didn't know
The Portuguese talisman swapped the Spanish capital for Turin in the summer.
The 2018 year was a roller coaster ride for Cristiano Ronaldo. In the most shocking transfer of the summer window, the Portuguese forward jumped ships to Juventus in a reported fee close to €112m in the mid of July and he has been firing goals from everywhere for the Italian giants.
The move came-off after Ronaldo won the UEFA Champions League with Real Madrid for the third successive time and fourth overall in five years. Just three days post the triumph, Zinedine Zidane departed from the club leading to Cristiano shifting his base a month later.
In an astonishing stat, he scored 28 goals for Real Madrid in the year in all competitions including the much-acknowledged bicycle kick goal against Juventus itself. For Juventus, Ronaldo has scored 15 goals.
The stat of just 43 goals in 12 months may not fascinate the fans and is surely below par by the standards he has set, but the record the greatest ever Portuguese man has is extraordinary. The 28 goals for Real came in just five months, January to May and he is the top scorer for the club in 2018. Next to him is Gareth Bale at 27 goals, who is yet to capitalise on the absence of the highest goal scorer of Real's history.
