Chelsea increase their asking price for Willian

According to The Sun, Chelsea will not do any business with Barcelona unless they pay a massive £70m fee for Brazilian attacker Willian. The Blues have already reportedly rejected an offer of £53m from the La Liga champions.

Negotiations are currently on the flow, but it is being said that Barca is not willing to pay such a sum for a player that turns 30 in August 2018.

Manchester City look to make a club-record transfer bid for Miralem Pjanic

According to CalcioMercato, Manchester City are preparing a huge bid for Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic. The City-Group-owned club had earlier shown considerable interest in the Bosnia-Herzegovina player.

The former Roma player’s agent Fali Ramidani has already informed the Turin club that City will bid close to their £89.2m valuation of the midfielder. 

If Pjanic leaves, The Old Lady could consider an audacious bid for former player Paul Pogba, who seems to be unsettled in Manchester United.

Theirry Henry to replace Steve Bruce?

Multiple reports are stating that Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has “verbally agreed” to take the Aston Villa managerial job.

The 1998 World Cup winner is currently a part of Belgium’s coaching staff. If the move works out, he will replace Steve Bruce at the English club.

Premier League return for Steven Nzonzi?

Arsenal manager Unai Emery has been given the green light to go for Sevilla midfielder Steven Nzonzi. Nzonzi was a part of France’s squad at Russia 2018. It is being reported by The Sun, that the Premier League outfit is trying to reach a cut-price deal with the Spanish outfit, but he has a £35m release clause. The former PSG manager has already spent nearly £70m in this transfer window.

Italian outfit AS Roma are also willing to enter the race, as their Director of Football, Monchi, signed the midfielder during his time as Sevilla Sporting Director and wants to reunite with the player in the Italian capital.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is reportedly planning on making up for the money spent during this transfer window, with ten players expected to leave – including Loris Karius and Danny Ings, reports the Daily Mail.
