FPL Guru: How your team should look like in Gameweek 12
Mesut Ozil and Eden Hazard are on song and will look to continue their form.
Emirates Stadium saw an entertaining encounter. Arsenal and Liverpool battled for a share of the spoils, with a Alexandre Lacazette goal cancelling out James Milner’s opener in the second half. Manchester City ran rampant against Mark Hughes’ Southampton winning 6-1 while Manchester United left it late to eke out a victory against Bournemouth. Tottenham and Chelsea saw off Wolverhampton and Crystal Palace comfortably.
Gameweek 11 Review
Captain Sergio Aguero stole the spotlight, returning 39 points in a week where the triple captain was activated. Richarlison’s brace against Brighton helped him gain 15 points. Callum Wilson and Marcos Alonso also came good with 7 and 6 points respectively. De Gea and Hazard got 4 points each. The rest of the team only managed 8 points with James Tarkowski turning out to be the underperformer of the week, getting -1 points due to his yellow card in Burnley’s 4-2 loss.
The team finished well above average due to a very good return from the Triple Captain chip.
Gameweek 12 Transfers
James Tarkowski’s lack of form has been a cause of concern. The Burnley defender came off with -1 points in Gameweek 11 and is transferred out. Amongst Shane Duffy and Matt Doherty, the latter is chosen. Matt Doherty’ role as a wingback in Nuno Espirito Santo’s system sees him more offensively involved than the Brighton centre-back.
James Maddison can also be transferred out due to his knee injury. Possible replacements are Ryan Fraser and Roberto Pereyra. The former has been a consistent performer for Bournemouth while the latter has seen a recent surge in his form after a few underwhelming set of games.
