FPL Guru: How your team should look like in Gameweek 31
Ten teams are out of action in this game week, owing to the FA Cup rounds.
Arsenal put a stop to Ole’s dream start as the manager of Manchester United after goals from Granit Xhaka and Aubameyang helped Emery’s men clinch all three points against their rivals. Manchester City got three points against Watford courtesy of a sublime hat-trick from Raheem Sterling. Liverpool beat Burnley 4-2 while Chelsea had to settle for a draw against Wolves at home. Southampton stunned Tottenham as they came back from a goal down to clinch victory at the St. Mary’s Stadium.
Gameweek 30 Review
The week was a mixed one. The Bench Boost used turned out to have very little effect on the final points. Sadio Mane led the pack with 14 points thanks to his brace against Burnley. Ryan Fraser got 13 while captain Sergio Aguero got 10 points for his performance against Watford. Richarlison got 8 points due to his goal for Everton against Newcastle. While Joshua King, Ricardo Pereira, Lukasz Fabianski, and Rashford finished with two points each Aaron-Wan Bissaka, Matt Doherty, Nathan Redmond, Andrew Robertson, and Paul Pogba finished with one each. Alisson Becker finished with 0 points while Marcos Alonso also failed to gain anything this week, owing to his lack of involvement.
Gameweek 31 Transfers
With several players not featuring, the two transfers have to be wisely used. Marcus Rashford is replaced by Callum Wilson. The Bournemouth striker’s return from injury has been a stellar one finishing the game against Huddersfield with a goal and an assist.
Another Manchester United player is replaced, as Felipe Anderson comes in for Paul Pogba. The West Ham midfielder looks the likeliest to make an impact against Huddersfield and considering the away team’s form he is expected to rope in points.
Paying the transfer fine, Aaron-Wan Bissaka is transferred out and James Tarkowski is brought in.

Gameweek 31 Line-up
Keeping players from Liverpool and Chelsea may reap extra benefits
[KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]The formation is 4-4-2. Sergio Aguero, Nathan Redmond, and Matt Doherty move to the bench as their teams do not have matches during the weekend. In goal, Alisson starts ahead of Lukasz Fabianski. James Tarkowski, Ricardo Pereira, Marcos Alonso, and Andrew Robertson starts in defense. Richarlison, Ryan Fraser, Sadio Mane, and Felipe Anderson make up the midfield while Bournemouth duo Joshua King and Callum Wilson are the strikers. The latter is made captain while Sadio Mane is chosen as the vice-captain.
With just five matches to look forward to, this week doesn’t look likely to cause much excitement. Teams like Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester City, and Manchester United do not feature this week due to the FA Cup fixtures. The key fixture is Chelsea’s trip to underperforming Everton. Liverpool face Fulham away from Anfield in their bid to leapfrog Manchester City and secure the first position.
