FC Bardez Goa face Dempo Sports Club in Goa Pro League

FC Bardez Goa will face Dempo Sports Club in a Goa Pro League match at Duler Stadium tomorrow. Dempo SC are in good form as they beat Corps of Signals 4-0 in the last match and will be looking to keep their winning run going when they meet FCBG. FC Bardez who are also bolstered by the acquisition of striker Koko Sakibo will be looking for the three points after their last game finished 0-0 against Calangute Association. Armando Colaco faces his old club in a league match for the first time. The experienced Head Coach guided Dempo to I-League success only a few seasons ago. The Last time these two sides met in the Goa Police Cup group stage it finished in a goalless draw Probable Starting XI FOR FC Bardez: Mirshad K, Leston Afonso, Rowilson Rodrigues, Mathew Gonsalves, Jessel Carneiro, Girish Naik, Richard Costa, Peter Carvalho , Alesh Sawant, Myron Mendes, Latesh Mandrekar. FC Bardez skipper Peter Carvalho said,"Dempo is a good team but we do not have any pressure playing against them. We will play our game and we will do our very best go get all the 3 points for the team. Today we did some really good practice and the boys are enjoying every bit of it and we will give it our 100%. Former Dempo man and current FC Bardez Assistant Coach Climax Lawrence added, “Dempo is a good team. We played out a draw in the Goa Police Cup and we dominant possession now this is a different league and both the teams are stronger. Dempo have made drastic changes to their squad, but I'm confident that we will give our best, we are also a different squad from when we played with them last.
