East Bengal set to sign Brazilian defensive midfielder Fabio Goncalves
The South American is set to be the club's newest signing after three successive departures.
After three consecutive releases in the form of Willis Plaza, Charles De Souza and Bazzou Armand within the last month, East Bengal are set to rope in former Brasiliearao Serie A club Internacional defensive midfielder Fabio Goncalves who is popularly known as Fabinho.

The 31-year old has the experience of playing in Brazil’s top tier league for a while now and his presence will surely bring an end to their defensive woes if not in the I-League than in the Super Cup if he can cope up well in Red and Gold colours.
Meanwhile, it is understood that the Red and Gold’s team management are also not happy with the performance of Dudu Omagbemi and they are thinking of getting a replacement for him too sources have confirmed to Khel Now.

On the other hand, reports suggest that league leaders Minerva Punjab are slated to sign Bazzou to replace Lago Dogbo Bei, although nothing has been officially announced yet by the club.
