It was all Aizawl in the second half as Lajong rarely looked like scoring. Kingsley brought down Kinowaki and his penalty allowed Lajong a possible route back into the game late on but it wasn't to be as the hosts held on. After sduccessive home wins Aizawl go top of the table for a few hours at least. Three defeats on the bounce and it could be a long season for a young Lajong outfit, who lack penetration going forward and seem unable to sustain a level of performance over the 90 minutes. 85' PENALTY Kingslee fouls Kinowai and the referee points to the spot. Kinowaki it is who steps and slides it into the net. Game on.

80' Alfred fouls Kinowaki. Jacobs free-kick is cleared for a corner. The comes coes in and once again the Lajong players miss the flight of the ball.

Shillong Lajong started like a house on fire. Fabio had his penalty saved by Albino. Since, Aizawl settled into the game and Lalruatthara gave them the lead just past the half houtr. They could have had more tha te one gial and Lajong manager has much tweaking to do at halftime. Back in a bit.

43' Been a stop-start half this. The referee has done his best to let it flow though.
