Churchill came into the game more and more in the second half. Subhasish's sending off gabe them hope of rescuing a point. But, they lacked the cutting edge in the final third throughout the game and Bagan held out. The best chance fell to Angelo Colaco who saw his shot come back off the bar. Much to improve on for both teams in what is a long season. The Mariners go home with all thee points Churchill will take the positives and look to bounce back. Goodnight from Kolkata.

Bagan have been the dominant side and deserve their lead. Duffy has been a threat uptop and the Mariners could have had more. Churchill have tried to stay organized and compact and deny the opposition space in midfield. They haven't penetrated much. Brandon Fernandes has been lively though and whilst its 1-0 they are well in the game. Back in a while.
