The Blues kept the tempo going in the second half and almost scored a third at the hour mark only to be denied twice by Chennaiyin ’keeper Sayak Barai. He first stopped a shot from Lamgoulen after the striker was sent through by Lalengzama, and from the resulting corner it was the latter who was denied by the custodian.
