The two India internations was once again in the thick of the action for the Blues as they romped to another success on the road.

The league leaders, Bengaluru Fc were pretty clinical with their finishing and once again maintained their dominance away from home. Bengaluru was dominant right from the start and their talisman upfront Miku was there again to give them the early lead through a penalty. The early goal allowed Bengaluru to control the game and Jamshedpur FC hardly found any rhythm in the first half, to pile up their misery Chhetri headed the ball into the net from an excellent Dimas corner. Jamshedpur FC did come back in the 2nd half but Bengaluru's stubborn defence and Gurpreet Singh did not allow them any chance to come back in the game.

Jamshedpur FC

Subrata Paul- 4.5

Subrata Paul received a yellow card for his foul on Miku

The veteran goalie had an off-day at the office today. He was penalised for the foul on Miku and conceded the penalty so early in the game and then he had no answer for Chhetri's thumping header. In both occasions, he was 2nd best and other than that he was average, so definitely not a day to remember for the Indian Spiderman.

Yumnam Raju- 5.5

The 28-year old Manipuri full-back was under pressure throughout the first half. He was having all sorts of trouble to match up with Udanta Singh's pace and Rahul Burke's overlapping runs. Although he had a decent second half, where his team was more positive in their play but his efforts were not enough to help his team deny a defeat.

Souvik Chakrabarti- 4

The Bengal born defender had a night to forget. He had a tough duel against Sunil Chhetri and could not contain the national team captain at any stage of the game. He was also at fault when Chhetri increased the lead from the corner. Souvik was not up to the mark with his marking and Chhetri capitalised the opportunity with open arms.

Jerry Mawihmingthanga- 5.5

The only bright spark for Jamshedpur FC other than Azuka was young Jerry. He was not at his best and was well managed by Subhasish Bose but he did get away from him at times. Jerry even comes very close to scoring from a rebound but Gurpreet was up to his task with an excellent save.

Farukh Choudhary- 5

The Maharashtra born winger just like his team had an off day at the office. He was constantly being dispossessed by the likes of Lenny Rodrigues and Rahul Bheke. Farukh hardly had any impact in the game and was pretty underwhelming throughout the match.

Match highlights

Sumeet Passi- 5

Steve Coppell had trust in the young forward's abilities and handed him his first start. He was left out for most of the first half because Bengaluru FC were dictating play and he hardly got any chance to find his feet in the match. He was substituted immediately in the second half by Anas Edathodika.

Substitutes

Mehtab Hossain- 3.5

The veteran midfielder came in for injured Anas and hardly did anything right. He was reckless with his challenges and was warned with a yellow card. Mehtab was starting to get in his rhythm when his team was pushing for a goal in the 2nd half and late in the game he was again reckless with his tackles and committed a needless foul on Chhetri from behind. He was given marching orders from the referee and he had a match to forget.

Anas Edathodika- NA

The India international was unfortunate as he came on for Sumeet Passi in the second half but could not carry on as he twisted his ankle and was subbed off.

Bengaluru FC

Gurpreet Singh Sandhu- 8

Gurpreet was up to the task today as he made some stunning saves to deny Jamshedpur any chance to come back in the game. The 26-year old was simply a revelation with his saves and was determined not to be beaten today. His scintillating reflex to make that double save from Bikey and Jerry was something extraordinary.

India No 1 GK kept Bengaluru FC in the game and won the Hero of the match

Subhasish Bose- 6.5

Subhasish is definitely one of the most improved footballers this season and once again he stood out to his expectations. He was excellently balancing his movements with occasional overlaps and also managed a threat like Jerry which was very commendable of the Bengal born left-back.

Rahul Bheke- 6.5

Rahul was at par with Subhasish and he also made some excellent forward runs to aid Udanta and the forwards and also defended with conviction. He did not allow Farukh to find his rhythm and had a pretty good outing.

Lenny Rodrigues- 7

The silent warrior of Bengaluru FC, he was one of the most influential players on the pitch. Lenny was tireless with his runs up and down the field and was snatching possession from the midfield now and then and orchestrating an attack. He did a very commendable job in the middle.

Sunil Chhetri- 7.5

The Indian captain was again on the song for the Blues. He scored an excellent gliding header to secure the lead and was a continuous threat down the left flank. Jamshedpur players Souvik and Mehtab had a tough time containing him. His versatility and eye for goals make him extraordinary.

Chhetri gave the keeper no chance with this powerful header!

Udanta Singh- 6.5

Udanta just couldn't react in time as the ball somehow made its way to him!

The Indian flash was on song today at the Kalinga stadium. The 21-year old winger was excellent with his runs down the right flank and Yumnam Raju definitely had a tough time keeping up with him. Udanta's pace makes him a dangerous threat and his link up with Rahul Bheke posed a lot of threat from the right flank.

Boithang Haokip- 5

Haokip came in for Udanta Singh in the 66th minute as Roca wanted to protect the lead. The young defender had a decent outing but did not have enough game time to prove a point.
