The Kolkata-based club are currently in Spain for their pre-season and will be hoping to gain experience by playing a high-flying Premier League outfit, ahead of the 2018-19 ISL season which kicks-off from 29th September 2018.
This is not the first time that an ISL club will be facing English top-tier opposition. Earlier in 2016, Delhi Dynamos faced West Bromwich Albion in a 1-0 loss.
The Craven Cottage outfit have taken a relatively strong squad for their one-week training camp to Spain, consisting of first-team players not called up for international duty and academy products. Some of the travelling men include, 2014 World Cup winner Andre Schurrle, captain Tom Cairney and Arsenal loanee Calum Chambers.

The London club plied their trade in the Championship last season and got promoted to the Premier League after a successful campaign. The club are currently 13th in the table with one win, one draw, and two losses. Meanwhile, the West Bengal club finished 9th last season and will be aiming to regain their lost place in the Indian Super League under the tutelage of former Manchester United winger Steve Coppell.
