The reigning champions have taken this move to increase their fanbase outside of Chennai.

Two-time Indian Super League champions Chennaiyin FC have announced the live screening of all their Indian Super League matches, in the cities of Coimbatore and Tiruchirapalli (Trichy).

The current ISL holders have taken this initiative to engage their ever-growing fanbase outside of Chennai.

Prozone Mall in Coimbatore has come onboard as an official partner and will be screening CFC’s home and away ISL matches free of cost for fans in the city. In Trichy, FSM OGR (Near Holy Cross College) has joined hands with Chennaiyin FC to screen their ISL matches free of cost as well.

“It is our endeavour this season to engage our fans outside Chennai and take the club closer to them. The objective of these screenings is to ensure fans across Tamil Nadu can connect with Chennaiyin FC which resonates our campaign for this season – “Naan Tamizhan”. Our success is driven by the entire state of Tamil Nadu and this is an important step towards acknowledging that,” said Chennaiyin FC Vice President Hiren Mody.

Adding to the live screening, the malls in Coimbatore and Trichy will also be conducting fun contests for the fans at the venue and present them with a chance to win CFC merchandise and match tickets.
