Sergio Lobera always had an upper hand over his counterpart Antonio Habas, as the Gaurs dominated possession and apart from one defensive mishap they had a pretty perfect game against one of the best sides in this season's ISL. ATK after this win are still very much in the mix of the playoffs but they have to go back to the drawing board and make some tweaks which will only improve his side for future matches. ATK's defensive approach and hitting on the counter did not work against a technically sound Goa side. FULLTIME: The tension between the support staffs of both teams with Sergio Lobera and Antonio Habas having a few words decribe what this fixture meant for both the sides. It was Coro's winning strike which allowed Goa to take three points and keep Lobera's unbeaten record against ATK intact. 90+5 PEEP PEEEEP PEEEEEEEEEEEEP!! Thats that from Goa, the tactical battle between two superpowers have ended in a win for FC Goa as they take three points and also the top spot in the table. 90+4 Brandon despite struglling with his hamstring kept the ball and smartly earned a corner as FC Goa are keeping possession and it looks like a matter of time for the hosts. 90+3' The hosts are just killing time with Brandon down with a cramp as Lobera's men desperately wait for the final whistle. 90' Four minutes added on to the regulation time as it looks like the visitors will be down for the second time this season. If the Gaurs can hold their lead they will dethrone ATK and take the top spot. 87' SUBSTITUTION for Goa as Edu bedia replaces Hugo Boumous. Earlier Coro was taken off for Doungel. 85' CHANCE for GOA that would have been the killer blow, as Manvir waltzed past multiple defenders before outmuscling Pritam Kotal. He was free on goal from point blank range but his shot was straight at Arindam who did his best. 84' Last throw of the dice for Habas as Javi comes off for Balwant as Habas looks to throw the kitchen sink at Goa. 80' ATK look tired chasing play throughout the game and being wasteful with the ball. Meanwhile FC Goa pushes forward again as Manvir Singh's shot is thrawarted away by the ATK defence and they were again called into action with Brandon striking from the loose ball. 77' Substitution for ATK as Sehnaj Singh comes off for Jayesh Rane, Habas looking to attack and atleast take a point from this game. 76' CHANCE for ATK as Williams outmuscles Seriton and drills a great low cross in the box in search 0of Krishna but Lenny's timely interception did not allow the ball to reach the intended target. Taht could have been a clear chance for the visitors. 75' Scrappy play from Jahouh as he brings down Jobby Justin and gets booked in the process. 72' SUBSTITUTION for Goa as Jackichand Singh makes way for Manvir Singh, as Lobera looks tobring a targetman upfront who can hold the ball forward and spread it to the sides. 71' CHANCE for ATK as Edu Garcia's teasing ball in the box was reached by Agus, and his strong header forced Nawaz to come up with a great save. 70' Suddenly there is so much action in the game with both teams having a go at each others. Spaces are opening up and we are in for a treat here in Goa. 67' WHAT A MATCH!!!! Goa take the lead again and who else but Coro. Another set-piece and another goal for the Gaurs.The ATK defence switched off as the experienced Spanaird was at the rigth palce at the right time to hand them the lead. 64' GOALLLLLLL Welcome to the  ISL Jobby Justin!! Roy Krishna's darting run forward dragged the Goa defenders out and they close him out but Justin was first to react to the loose ball. We are level here in Goa. 62' Soosairaj has been stretchered off and it looks like a double blow for the visitors. Meanwhile Jobby Justin has come on to take the field for the injured man. 60' GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!! Fall has broken ATK's resistence finally. The Gaurs have lived upto their expectations of scoring from a setpiece, as Brandon's inch perfect dleivery finds Fall in the far post and he made no mistake to hand Goa the lead. 58' Habas has made slight tweak to his starting lineup with Pirtam Kotal shifting to the right replacing salam who had a torrid time in containing Jackichand,. 54' FC Goa have started from where they left in the first half, as they dictate terms with ATK satisfied to sit back and wait for their chance to counter. The game will open up with a goal here. 50' Roy Krishna is down with pain as he had a tussle with Fall and the Moroccan went all out to clear the ball. 48' CHANCE FC Goa keep up their first half pressure as Boumous again releases Jackichand in space but the Manipuri winger failed to control the abll. That could have been the first real opening of the match for the Gaurs. 45' We are underway for the second half as both sides are still in search of the first goal. HALFTIME: Umesh Bora's whistle signifies that thats for the first half. It has been a frustrating first 45 minutes for both the teams for different reasons obviously. ATK have struggled to keep the ball and string a few passes whereas FC Goa have been wasteful with all the possession they had. Jackichand was great in the first half as kept Soosairaj busy and did not allow him to venture forward cutting off the service. Whereas Brandon has been wasteful at times. All in all this game needs a goal , to pick up the tempo. 44' Best chance for ATk in this half as Garcia releases Williams from the left flank as he takes on seriton Fernandes but Pena doubles up on the Australian and clears the line. 40' Soosairaj and Salam has struggled to contain Jackichand on the right wing. The Manipuri winger almost earned a penalty with his darting run inside the box which was eventually cleared by Soosairaj. 37' The tempo of the game has slowed down with the hosts enjoying most of the ball whereas ATK have been very wasteful on the ball. 33'  ATK have been caught out in defence time and again especially from FC Goa's right channel. Jackichand has caused problems to Salam and Soosai which has stretched the ATK defence dragging out Agus from the middle and creating a big hole in defence for the likes of Coro and Boumous to capitalise. 30' Sehnaj Singh becomes the latest player to be booked for an infringement on Boumous. 28' Umesh Bora books FC Goa assistant referee, Jesus Tato for an issue near the sideline. 27' Great move from the hosts as Brandon's corner reached Boumous and the midfielder controlled it well and struck it brilliantly on the half turn but it's wide. 25' First real move in attack for ATK as Williams and Garcia combined well and went past multiple defenders before Fall came to Goa's rescue. 20' CHANCE for FC Goa another ball from the right flank as the ATK defenders are caught napping. Jahouh reacts fastest of the FC Goa players but Arindam made sure he reached ahead of his counterpart. 16' It has been a cagey 15 minutes of play with both sides moving cautiously. ATK have not had much of the ball but with maximum possession FC Goa have also struggled to create anything fruitful. 13' Seriton Fernandes becomes the second player to get booked after he trips Javi from behind. 11' FC Goa have enjoyed most of the possession till now and ATK are happy to allow them the ball and are looking to sit back and hit on counters. Meanwhile Agus Garcia gets in a tussle and becomes the first player to get on the referee's book. 7' CLOSE!! Boumous again in the mix of things as the Moroccan opened up the ATK defence with Jackichand making a darting run forward but his cross was easily cleared by Pritam Kotal. 3' End to end stuff as Jahouh releases Boumous to make a run down the left channel but his cross was wayward as ATK went forward on the counter but Williams' shot from distance was weak. 1' KICKOFF And we are underway for an highly anticipated fixture in Goa!!! 7:25 PM We gradually head towards kickoff as the teams are out of the tunnel and are lining up for the national anthem. 7:15 PM Antonio Habas has not disturbed a winning lineup as he has continued to trust his 3-5-2 formation. Salam Ranjan Singh who came in for Anas Edathodika in the last game keeps his place in defence. In midfield Sehnaj Singh will partner Javi Hernandez as Edu Garcia will look to venture forward and asisst Krishna and Williams upfront. Prabir Das and Soosairaj will look to get in behind the FC Goa defenders from wide positions. 7:10 PM Sergio Lobera for the first time in the season will have his full squad and has fielded a conventional 4-2-3-1 formation. While Nawaz has kept his place in goal, Mourtada Fall has returned to lead the backline alongside Carlos Pena at the heart of the defence. With Coro back, Hugo Boumous will slot in a free role behind the Spaniard as Brandon and Jackichand will look to stretch the ATK defence. 7:05 PM The importance of this game goes without saying, as the hosts will look for a win and clinch the top spot while ATK will be determined to keep hold of their top spot and the winning momentum. 7:00 PM Meanwhile Antonio Lopez Habas has gone with the same side which won 0-3 against NorthEast United. 6:55 PM The biggest news from Goa is that their talisman Ferran Corominas is back in the starting lineup for this crucial fixture. Mourtada Fall also returns from suspension. Antonio Lopez Habas revealed he does not have a specific plan to stop Ferran Corominas “We know how important a player Corominas is for FC Goa. But, I know that we don’t have a special tactical method for him specifically. We have to play against Goa, not against one player particularly. I don’t like to single out particular players, as I know football is an individual sport,” he quipped.
