Ferran Corominas scored the winner for the hosts on Saturday night.
FC Goa climed to the top of the Indian Super League (ISL) table with a 2-1 win over ATK in an intense clash at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Saturday. After Mourtada Fall had given FC Goa the lead in the 60th minute, ATK substitute Jobby Justin equalized four minutes later. However, in the 66th minute, Ferran Corominas scored from close range to hand the Gaurs a big win.
Here are the Indian players' ratings from the match:

Mohammad Nawaz- 6.0
Nawaz seemed undaunted by ATK’s fierce striking duo and made a strong save from a David Williams' shot early on. He was sloppy in fending away Fall’s clearance straight to Jobby for his goal, but made a great save off Agus Garcia later on to redeem himself.
Seriton Fernandes- 5.5
Seriton showed more willingness to go forward, making some clever runs. Defensively, Fernandes was topsy-turvy, making some crucial challenges, but way too aggressive on occasions. Was booked for a sloppy foul and was very lucky not to be sent off after repeating it later on.
Mandar Rao Dessai- 6.5
The FC Goa captain was an ever-bearing presence on the left side, surging forward whenever possible. Linked up well with his teammates. Defensively he kept a compact shape, nullifying ATK’s threat through his side, making three clearances and a few tackles.
Lenny Rodrigues- 7.5
Lenny was as diligent as ever in the middle, helping his side control possession well. His distribution was effective, with his 88% passing accuracy proving how composed he is on the ball. Pressed ATK hard, also making a couple of effective clearances and tackles. Did everything Sehnaj couldn’t.
Jackichand Singh- 6.5
Jackichand was in fiery form on the right wing, blazing past Soosairaj on multiple occasions to cause ATK many problems. Tormented them with his electric movement, but just lacked that cutting-edge final pass.
Brandon Fernandes- 7.0
Brandon showed utmost willingness to open up ATK’s defence, but lacked that cutting-edge pass initially. However, once he got a free-kick outside the area, he made no mistake with an inch-perfect cross leading to Fall’s emphatic strike, which was his fifth assist of the season.
Substitutions
Manvir Singh- 6.5
Manvir added a big physical presence after coming on, troubling ATK’s defence with his strong presence. Created a wonderful goalscoring chance for himself late on, but his strike was saved.
Seiminlen Doungel- N/A
Doungel maintained the high intensity of Goa’s attacks in the dying stages, keeping the excitement level intact.
ATK
Arindam Bhattacharya- 5.5
Arindam looked extremely alert against the Gaurs’ unpredictability. Couldn’t really do anything for Fall’s powerful header, but could’ve done better with Corominas’ goal, which went in at his near post. Denied Manvir late on with a brilliant save.
Pritam Kotal- 6.5
Kotal held firm against the Goan onslaught, finding himself in all the right positions to make six strong clearances. Helped deflect Goa’s chances with four strong blocks and two tackles as well. The makeshift centre-back did his job decently.
Salam Ranjan Singh- 6.5
The defender was caught wrong-footed on occasions, but was rock-solid otherwise. Sat deep and moved into the right areas to fend off Goa’s attacks.
Despite the loss, Singh made 10 clearances, four tackles and two interceptions in a strong defensive showing to prove why he deserves more chances.
Prabir Das- 5.0
Kept a compelling shape defensively, but it was his sloppy hand-ball which led to the opening goal. Prabir couldn’t block Corominas’ goal either. Overall, it was a rare inefficient display from the usually strong defender.
Sehnaj Singh- 5.0
Sehnaj couldn’t press the Gaurs as much as he’d wanted to, failing to create counter-attacks for his side. Booked for a foolish challenge. Singh couldn’t track Corominas’ run leading to his goal. Couldn’t make any impact in terms of creating chances, instead giving away possession too many times to increase the pressure on his side.
Michael Soosairaj- 5.5
Soosairaj found out that defending can be pretty hard, facing-off against an electric Jackichand Singh. Looked troubled dealing with his pacy forward runs and could barely stop him.
He was much better in attack, moving forward with intent and creating a few decent chances with incisive passes. Had to be taken off after suffering an injury.
[KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News | Article Continues Below"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]Substitutions
Jobby Justin- 7.0
Jobby made an instant impact minutes after coming on, showcasing a striker’s predatorial instinct by capitalizing on Nawaz’s error to score his maiden ISL goal. The former East Bengal man was promising with his movement.
Jayesh Rane- N/A
Rane looked a bit trifled by the intensity of the game, not being able to do anything after coming on.
Balwant Singh- N/A
Balwant was ineffective once again, as he came on very late and couldn’t influence the result at all.
