The high-octane clash between the two giants of the ISL ended all square in a dramatic finish.

The game, FC Goa Vs Bengaluru FC, was a hotly-contested fixture in the Indian Super League and it resulted in a 1-1 draw on Monday.

Udanta Singh’s opener was cancelled out by Ferran Corominas, following an injury-time penalty conceded by Ashique Kuruniyan. The Indian contingent of players played their crucial roles well for their respective teams and some of them really impressed on the night.

WATCH: Match Highlights- FC Goa 1-1 Bengaluru FC

Here are the Indian player ratings from Goa Vs Bengaluru:

FC Goa

Mohammad Nawaz - 5.5

Nawaz made an exceptional save early in the first-half, but did not have much to do for the rest of the game due to BFC’s lack of quality in the final third. The custodian could not have done much to prevent Udanta from finding the back of the net from point-blank range.

Seriton Fernandes - 6.5

Sergio Lobera must be impressed by the work-rate of Seriton Fernandes in the right-back position. Not only was the full-back defending well, but his marauding runs going forward caused a few scares for the opposition. A last ditch clearance in the 69th minute marks one of the highlights from his game.

Mandar Rao Dessai - 5.0

The skipper had a lukewarm outing to say the least and he was constantly pegged back by the advancing opposition full-back in Nishu Kumar. Yet again he was substituted before the end of the game after receiving a yellow card in the 77th minute for a bad foul on Dimas Delgado.

Seiminlen Doungel - 5.5

Seiminlen Doungel could not impose himself on the game, as he had done last time around. He did find spaces behind the defence on occasions, but was let down by inaccurate passes. His speed and tenacity were well matched by Kuruniyan on the left flank.

Brandon Fernandes - 5.5

The creative force in midfield for the Gaurs, Brandon Fernandes failed to impress on the night. His work-rate was impressive, but Lobera might be expecting a more clinical performance from the 25-year-old. He started on the left flank, but had to shift inside into a central role in a tactical shuffle.

Lenny Rodrigues - 5.0

Lenny Rodrigues was overpowered by BFC’s new signing Raphael Augusto and found it tough to settle on the ball in the middle of the park. Otherwise defensively astute, the 32-year-old needs to deliver more when it comes to speedy counter-attacks.

Manvir Singh - 6.5

Manvir Singh found himself isolated for most of the game and chased every ball in order to find any opportunity. His link-up play was particularly impressive, as the 23-year-old found pockets of space and attempted ambitious through balls to release the wingers into space.

Substitutions

Jackichand Singh - 6.0

Jackichand Singh was benched for this game, but was brought on to instil some life into Goa’s attacking output, which he managed to do perfectly. The 27-year-old was a livewire down the right wing and delivered a few dangerous crosses into the box as well.

Saviour Gama - N/A

Came on late as a replacement for Mandar Rao Dessai and could not affect the game much.

Bengaluru FC

Gurpreet Singh Sandhu - 5.5

The India international goalkeeper would be livid to have lost out on a second consecutive clean-sheet of the campaign. He had a quiet night otherwise and stood no chance of saving Corominas’ accurate penalty late in the game.

Rahul Bheke - 6.5

Rahul Bheke was solid in defence, played out from the back efficiently and did not make any glaring errors in the heart of a three-man backline. However, he was substituted early in the second half to make way for Albert Serran.

Nishu Kumar - 6.0

Nishu Kumar was particularly impressive, especially considering the industry he showed by defending well and contributing in attack as well. He must improve his crossing ability however, as on several occasions, his inaccurate crosses led to unsuccessful attacking moves.

Ashique Kuruniyan - 5.5

In a performance which can be perfectly termed as ‘hero turned to zero,’ Ashique Kuruniyan was the guilty party after his careless tackle late in the game brought down Corominas, leading to the penalty and the equalizer. Barring the late error, the 23-year-old had a good game, defended well and made advancing runs from his new left wing-back role.

Harmanjot Khabra - 5.5

The utility midfielder did his job well, made tackles when needed and got into the face of the opposition midfielders with his brilliant pressing. However, he also needs to polish his attacking output and gel better with Raphael Augusto.

Udanta Singh - 7.0

Udanta Singh was a constant menace on the right flank and found space behind the defensive line on many occasions, owing to his blistering speed. The 23-year-old looked to have secured three points for his side when he scored in the 61st minute, BFC’s first goal of the 2019/20 campaign.

Sunil Chhetri - 6.0

Sunil Chhetri, playing on the left flank in the midfield was the focus of several FC Goa defenders, who did not allow the opposition skipper much time on the ball. His link-up play with Udanta and Manuel Onwu must improve in order for him to score more goals for his team. Another quiet night for the highest scoring Indian in the ISL.

Substitutions

Eugeneson Lyngdoh - 5.5

Eugeneson Lyngdoh was brought on by the tactician in order to make up for the lack of ball control in midfield, as the Gaurs started to enjoy more of the possession. However, the 33-year-old delivered little and needs more playing time to make a difference.

Semboi Haokip -  N/A

Came on too late to make any impact on the game.
