The Englishman was left frustrated after his side slumped to their third defeat of the season.
Hyderabad FC head coach Phil Brown talked to the media following his side's defeat against NorthEast United. The Englishman was clearly disappointed with the result. NorthEast United won the game 0-1 thanks to a penalty converted by Maximiliano Barreiro in the 86th minute.

“I don’t think it was a fair result. During the course of the game I didn’t expect us to, at any point, lose that match and consequently the way we lost it was disappointing."
On His Team’s Performance
“I think it’s credit to the players. They are wearing the shirt with pride. They are trying everything they possibly can, but at times you are looking around for quality, you are looking around for that little bit of quality that keeps you in the final third.”

On The Penalty
"I have not seen it, I have not witnessed it. I am not here to criticize officials, I won’t do that. The referee’s given it because he has seen something and obviously the ball traveled some distance," stated Brown.
[KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News | Article Continues Below"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]If it has hit a hand then it’s a penalty but I’ll look at it closely. Hopefully, in the next press conference I will be agreeing that it was a penalty. As I said, I am not here to criticize the officials. They have their job to do and so do I," added Phil Brown in the end.
Hyderabad FC play their next game after the international break away to Chennaiyin FC on the 25th of November.
