The ATK boss praised his side’s resolve to hold on to the lead against Mumbai City FC and win the match.
ATK secured a crucial away win against Mumbai City FC in the Indian Super League on Saturday night, with goals from Pronay Halder and Michael Soosairaj. In the post-match press conference, Antonio Lopez Habas was quick to praise his team’s solid performance, especially in the second half. He spoke in that context and said, “I think we had a fantastic first half. We dominated the match, we had the opportunity to score on two more chances.”
"I am very happy with the performance, the attitude and the discipline of the players. Mumbai City had a chance to score another goal in the second half, but we also had chances to score more goals on the counter-attack,” the Spaniard further went on adding.

Our defensive line’s behaviour and performance was fantastic today because we had to remember that we had to win the match with 0-2 and the difference between the two teams was very important in the first-half.”
Speaking on the change of tactics from the first 45-minutes and into the second half, Antonio Lopez Habas remarked, “We had the capacity to change the system during the match and before the match.
