FC Goa continued their marauding record against Mumbai City, as they thumped the Islanders 2-4 in their Indian Super League clash at the Mumbai Football Arena. FC Goa midfielders Lenny Rodrigues and Hugo Boumous, who scored a goal each for the Gaurs shared their thoughts after the game.
Lenny Rodrigues was delighted that he scored, but was more happy with the win saying, "It is not about me scoring the goal, it is about the three points."

"I think when we scored two goals we were a bit complacent. But, at half-time, the coach told us that we have to keep going with the same intensity."

This break will allow us to work on the things we need to improve for future matches."
Despite top-class performances for a couple of years now, the midfielder still wants to improve and strive for more, as he aims to wear the national colours.
"I am very happy and it is not about me. I want to give my best, as I am lacking in a few areas. I want to give my best, so I can get into the national team."
"These three points are for the fans. They travelled from Goa and I just want to thank and want to urge them to support us like this," Lenny Rodrigues concluded.
Star performer Hugo Boumous also shared his feelings after the game. The Moroccan scored a great header, which allowed Lobera's men to re-take the lead in the second half. He was delighted with the result, as he wanted Goa to get back to winning ways.
"I am very happy because of the three points. I was a bit disappointed with the last match, as we did not win. But, tonight I am happy with the win."
"The game was tough, as Mumbai are a good team. They also played very well. We were leading 0-2, but after half-time, we were very bad. Yet, we came back and scored through a set-piece and kept possession from thereon," opined the midfielder.
Reflecting on the upcoming international break, Hugo Boumous said, "The plan is to recover and spend time with family and friends. Then, get ready for the game against Jamshedpur. They can be a tough opponent for us this season."

On this he added, "We respect every opposition that we play. It is not about Mumbai. Of course, we have won against them last season but we knew we had to play our very best to win."
With that ended a short interaction with Lenny Rodrigues and Hugo Boumous, who along with their team head into the international break in high spirits.
